Shipley Citizens Jury
During Autumn 2022 we supported Shipley Town Council and Shared Future CIC to co-facilitate the running of the inaugural Shipley Citizens Jury. Navigating deliberative democracy fit for the 21st Century with 25 jury members, a representative group of Shipley’s diverse population who’d never met before, came together to learn, share and debate recommendations to form a mandate for the town council to tackle the climate emergency at a local level.
