Safer Snickets
In January 2023 we began community engagement with teenage girls from Hollings Youth Association in Manningham, Bradford to identify and develop ideas to reimagine an unloved but well used snicket and make it feel safer. Following a series of design workshops we’re currently in the process of working with Bradford Council departments to bring the girls ideas to life in the snicket and explore the impact of the interventions on levels of fly-tipping and sense of safety.
This project is funded by JU:MP a Sport England local delivery pilot in Bradford.
