Street Space has been commissioned by Climate Action Menston to undertake a community engagement scoping exercise and collaboratively develop a vision for their Main Street, that's fit for the 21st Century.
Street Space has been commissioned by the Greater London Authority to devise and deliver a series of meaningful conversations in partnership with community organisations to unearth potential names of new and existing streets and spaces in the Royal Docks area.

The Barking Bridge Project was initiated by local resident Tim Hunt who wanted to do something about the state of the two footbridges on Essex Road, Barking. Street Space are supporting Tim with additional community engagement and a collaborative bid for funding to transform the footbridges through community-led regeneration in partnership with LBBD and Studio 3 Arts.
We've teamed up with award winning architecture practise If Do to lead community engagement activities for an exciting regeneration project led by Haringey Council and funded by the Mayor of London. Working with young producers based in Tottenham we'll lead a series of creative engagement activities to shape the design of 551b, High Road, Bruce Grove in to a new workspace and community cafe.
Street Space have been commissioned by the London Borough of Redbridge to carry out creative community engagement activities to explore the future of Fairlop Waters Country Park. We'll be listening to existing park lovers as well as seeking out voices and perceptions from people who don't visit the park to start building a collaborative future vision for Fairlop Waters. As part of a DfT funded Coronavirus response we're supporting Be First and LBBD to identify and deliver a trial of emergency measures to tackle speeding, cut-through traffic and make it safer to walk and cycle in residential streets between Parsloes Park and Porters Avenue. We've been collaborating with architectural & design practice If_DO on an Innovate UK funded research project exploring how we can adapt our public spaces and places to support the recovery of our town centres following Covid 19.
Street Space has been commissioned by Be First / London Borough of Barking and Dagenham to facilitate community engagement and collaborative design with residents living in and moving through the Fiddlers in Becontree Heath as part of a GLA funded Low Emission Neighbourhood. Greening the Fiddlers will work with residents to reduce traffic dominance, improve air quality and create more welcoming & inclusive public spaces in the neighbourhood.

Her Barking is a women led, place based project to collaboratively identify, design and test interventions to improve perceptions of safety in Barking Town Centre. Funded by a small grant from the Academy of Urbanism and The National Lottery Community Fund. Click for more information.
Colour in Marks Gate is a new project funded by North Meets South Big Local in Chadwell Heath. With residents we'll identify unloved corners and spaces in the neighbourhood and work together, using colour and craft to bring some joy!
Street Space has received funding from the Mayor of London to deliver 'All Roads Lead to Valence Park' an innovative outdoor gym 'activator' training programme and community-led wayfinding project.
Street Space is supporting Collectively, providing expertise on engagement and prototyping for the Loneliness Lab - an 18 month project to develop and test ideas to tackle loneliness through shaping places and spaces in London. Funded by Lendlease.

Street Space was privileged to work alongside local residents, Community Resources, London Sport and London Borough of Barking and Dagenham to collaboratively design and co-ordinate a resident-led activation and ongoing legacy programme for the newly transformed Valence Park, Dagenham.
Street Space partnered with award-winning architects IF_DO and members of Enfield Methodist Church to deliver embedded community engagement, outreach and collaborative design to support the delivery of a a new community space for Elsinge, Enfield.

Commissioned by the Inclusive Growth team at London Borough of Barking and Dagenham we developed and delivered community listening and engagement across the borough to explore and understand perceptions, attitudes and concerns around 'growth' in the borough.
Community listening for Barking and Dagenham Renew to understand how outdoor spaces might foster social connection between existing and new residents on the Gascoigne estate, Barking.
Street Space were commissioned to co-develop and deliver a series of workshops on place-based prototyping and social innovation with the RSA Student Design Awards team as part of their 'Grand Station Design' award brief, in partnership with Network Rail.
Street Space were commissioned by the London Borough of Lambeth to work with students at Crowne Lane Primary to collaborative design interventions to improve busy walk to school routes.
Street Space were collaborators in a human centred design research project led by The Future Fox, funded by Innovate UK, to explore, scope and test ways to digitise the co-creation process.
Collaborating with shopkeepers and local residents, Street Space were the catalyst for acting on an idea to convert the unused land in the middle of a car park at the Fiddlers into space for a community Christmas Tree, complete with carol singing!
